GFC was contracted by Skanska USA General Contractors to provide Ceramic and Stone products for a new construction project in College Station TX.
The three new buildings, the Veni, Vidi and Vici were constructed for The College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences New Education.
In VENI, the Large entry areas contain travertine stone columns and soffits that rise up to the 3rd story and about 40 feet in the air. Products for the VENI building included stone travertine floors, wainscots and stairs with accent stone pieces throughout, custom made large travertine panels for the two oval areas and fireplaces as well as 4×12 submarine stone on curved walls at the outside of the two oval areas.
Quarry tile was installed in the Kitchen and Servery along with ceramic with glass mosaic accents in all Restroom and locker areas.
This project, including all of the ceramic, porcelain and stone tiles on the floors, walls and ceilings in all 3 buildings, grossed over 100,000 square feet.
