Safety

GFC is deeply committed to the highest safety standards throughout the organization.

Safety training begins on Day 1 for all Production employees. Regular safety meetings focus on various aspects of construction and the installation of commercial flooring applications. Bi-annual reviews of basic OSHA requirements and company policies are conducted to ensure GFC’s staff maintain safe work sites. Production staff are certified in 10 or 30 hour OSHA training.

Our commitment to our employees, vendors and business associates, is to strive to provide a workplace free of recognized hazards in accordance with existing safety regulations and best-practices for our industry.

To make this goal a reality, it takes all of our employees working at every level of the company, to assure that our operations are as safe as possible. As a management team, we are committed to providing the necessary resources, safety equipment, and training, so that all employees can perform their work-related duties with the highest degree of safety. We encourage employees to actively participate in the process and expect compliance.

Production Management and Superintendents audit job sites for safety hazards and quality assurance.

GFC also conducts thorough background checks and supports Employment Eligibility Verification (Form I-9) compliance. Our employees meet strict vendor background checks and badging requirements.
